I cannot lead you where I myself have not been.  The fierce dedication and investment in healing and growth that I’ve brought to my own life influences and informs my practice on every level.

In IFS, we talk about being “hope merchants.”

In working on this section of my website, I woke up from a dream that communicated an acronym for HOPE:

Have a (clear) vision for what you want 

Operate as if you can have it 

Presence parts (and work with them), pursue practice, play 

Engage expert companionship**  

As a straddler of the therapy and coaching worlds, and a life-long spiritual seeker, I can offer expert companionship with all of the aspects involved to embody HOPE.

• From IFS therapy I bring: trauma healing at the root, attunement, reflective listening, sharp parts detectors, non-pathologizing and compassionate space-holding, Self energy

• From coaching, utilizing somatic methodology, I bring: goal & practice orientation, the power of choice, accountability, embodiment practices, flexible time arrangements, and resource sharing

• From spiritual practice I bring: fierce, courageous dedication to the truth, spacious loving awareness, refined presence, curiosity, process orientation, patience, and a commitment to end suffering

• From extensive experience with shadow play, I bring: radical acceptance of the forbidden, taboo, rejected, and disavowed; frameworks to reveal what is hidden even to ourselves in our best effort to “see” or be conscious

I’m also a trained and certified professional dominatrix (helping people is a kink). Power and its dynamics, pleasure and the body, consent, play containers for healing and spiritual expansion, and how to utilize them in liberation work, for ourselves and for our world, are my jam.

Safety, dignity, and belonging are bedrock needs of our human experience, the absolute roots from which everything else grows (or doesn’t, depending on where we fall on the spectrum of trauma, both little t and capital T, and our socialized identities as they relate to systems of oppression).

As collaborators in sacred relationship, our work alchemizes the wounding that occurred in these areas and opens new pathways to pleasure, power, and freedom.

*Though I am not a licensed clinical therapist, I uphold ethical standards through rigorous attention to consent, transparency, and ongoing clinical training and supervision.
